Job Description

BOS is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud Platform and the applications/ecosystems that are modernized by leveraging BOS.

Responsibilities

Play an integral role in codifying the access controls and security best practices for inclusion with the BOS DevSecOps and Cloud automation Platform.
Implement and maintain security measures for cloud environments, focusing on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Monitor and analyze security risks, conducting regular vulnerability assessments and providing actionable recommendations for our customers.
Configure and manage security tools, ensuring their effectiveness in detecting and mitigating threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development and deployment processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as CIS controls, HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP, and the like, staying informed of ever-evolving Cyber Security changes and updates.
Develop and maintain incident response plans, participate in resolving security incidents and conduct post-incident analyses.
Stay current on emerging threats and technologies, providing proactive recommendations to enhance the overall security posture.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
Conduct security awareness training for staff and foster a security-first culture within the organization.
Assist with third-party audits and assessments related to cloud security.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a cloud security analyst or in a similar role.
Strong familiarity and experience with CIS controls, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and similar regulatory requirements.
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
Experience working in an Application Development environment is highly desirable.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a huge plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
