Sashank founded 5Y Solutions in 2009, naming it after the “5 Why” problem-solving technique. 5Y Solutions generated over 200 technological and business products for finance, healthcare, and clinical research between 2009-2017 with operations in Sydney, Australia, and Hyderabad, India.
Thinking big more on technologies that enable individual developers construct products or applications or automate parts of the product development ecosystem. As easy as it is to construct a single application, it’s harder to build a technology ecosystem that powers a firm.
Aiming to help people’s digital systems connect better in 2018 without compromising security or affordability. He created a framework for 5Y termed the “Central Nervous System” to run an organization’s technologies. The prototype system became “Business OS” or “BOS.”
Vision to deliver a predictable, deterministic consequence to software, therefore named his company “BOS Framework.” Sashank regards software as an art, not a science.
The BOS automation platform can be used either to build a new product or to migrate an existing product into any cloud system. Thus the migrated product is made as automated as possible. What Sashank considers “creative work” still gets done by developers, whereas the “engineering work” gets offloaded to automated systems.
